On December 22, 2025, in Kyiv, the Association of Ukrainian Banks signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the leading law firm ADER HABER Government Affairs. The document was signed on behalf of the AUB by the First Vice President of the Association, Vitaliy Romanchukevich.

The signing of the Memorandum establishes the framework conditions for partnership between the parties in the development of Ukraine's financial sector and the coordination of actions aimed at preparing and providing expert support for legislative and regulatory initiatives. The document defines areas of cooperation, including analysis of financial legislation, preparation of analytical and position papers, participation in working groups and professional events.

Following recent working meetings, the Association of Ukrainian Banks decided to sign the Memorandum as an institutional framework for cooperation and support for the development of civilized, transparent lobbying in the financial sector.

First Vice President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks Vitaliy Romanchukevich noted:

We are convinced that transparent and professional lobbying is an important component of a high-quality regulatory environment. For its part, the Association is ready to contribute to the formation of such practices by participating in expert support for legislative and regulatory processes and building a systematic dialogue with the authorities."

The memorandum is of a framework nature, enters into force upon signing, and is valid for one year with the possibility of automatic renewal for subsequent periods by agreement of the parties.
