On December 22, the Association of Ukrainian Banks held its regular meeting, during which key issues related to the AUB's activities for 2026 were discussed. In particular, the agenda included the approval of the Association's draft budget for the next year and decisions on the admission of new members to the AUB.
The Association Council unanimously approved the AUB budget for 2026, which was formed on the basis of actual performance indicators in 2025, taking into account the expansion of areas of work and new sources of funding.
The Council also approved the admission of three new members to the Association: the financial company Swift Garant LLC, the operator of the City24 payment terminal network, and two microfinance companies, Gama Upgrade LLC and Siroko Finances LLC, which operate in the field of online consumer lending. All companies have fulfilled the requirements of the AUB Charter and have committed to comply with the Association's standards of operation. Following their accession, the number of AUB members has grown to 85 organizations.
During the meeting, the key areas of activity for the Association in 2026 were also outlined. Among the priorities are active interaction with the National Bank of Ukraine, parliament, and central government bodies; work on legislative initiatives in the field of payment services, consumer lending, taxation, and financial monitoring; and the development of international cooperation.
In particular, a working trip by Ukrainian financiers to the AUB representative office in Brussels is planned for the end of January 2026 to hold meetings with representatives of European institutions.
Following the meeting, the AUB Council confirmed the Association's readiness for active and systematic work in 2026, focused on protecting the interests of the organization's members, developing the financial market, and supporting European integration processes in Ukraine.
