The Association of Ukrainian Banks held an online meeting with the Banking Association of Armenia

On December 10, 2025, the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) held an online meeting with the Banking Association of Armenia. During the negotiations, the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation in 2026 and outlined specific steps for further interaction.

The parties agreed to explore joint opportunities in the field of professional training and educational programs for banking institutions, including topics such as cyber resilience, open data, digital payments, KYC/AML, and innovation in financial services. They also discussed holding bilateral presentations of fintech solutions, participating in conferences, and exchanging expertise on European integration processes.

Special attention was paid to international projects that will start in 2026. The Association invited Armenian colleagues to join the events and activities within these projects and promised to share the results.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to identify contact persons, draw up a list of priority topics, and continue regular consultations. The AUB will continue to work on expanding international partnerships and exchanging best practices with leading industry associations around the world.

The mission of the Association of Ukrainian Banks is to support the development of the national banking system. The AUB cooperates with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on improving the legislation governing banking activities, and interacts with the National Bank of Ukraine on regulatory support for the functioning of banks and non-bank financial institutions. The CBA takes care of the professional development of bank employees, expands international relations with associations and banking institutions of other countries.
