Bogdan Lukashevich, Chairman of the Accounting and Taxation Committee of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, took part in a meeting organized by the State Tax Service of Ukraine. The event was devoted to discussing current challenges in the field of taxation, in particular the implementation of SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) and the development of new digital services. Fifty-five business associations and civil society institutions took part in the meeting.
Representatives of the tax service informed participants about plans to automate tax processes, improve the tax revenue monitoring system, expand services in the “Dія” application, and introduce e-auditing based on SAF-T, which is planned to be launched as early as 2026. During the discussion with representatives of the State Tax Service, Bohdan Lukashevych emphasized the practical difficulties that banks encounter when forming and using SAF-T.
The Association of Ukrainian Banks provided its suggestions for improving the process, which were taken into account by the State Tax Service. The tax service reported that all comments and recommendations from the banking community have already been forwarded to developers for further consideration. Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh noted that the search for a balance between control and serviceability is taking place thanks to ongoing dialogue with the business community. In her opinion, each such meeting provides an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of new decisions, obtain feedback, and develop new ideas for improving tax services. The AUB will continue to work actively to eliminate problematic aspects in order to promote effective interaction between the banking community and the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
