The Association of Ukrainian Banks opened a representative office in Brussels
Last week, the opening of the representative office of the Association of Ukrainian Banks in Brussels took place. The main goals of the new office are to establish a sustainable dialogue with European institutions, represent the interests of the Ukrainian banking sector at the EU level, and actively participate in the process of Ukraine's European integration.
The representative office of the Association of Ukrainian Banks in Brussels will be headed by Ksenia Ulytovska. The office is located at Rue Van Maerlant 2, 1000 Brussels. Its opening was an important step in the strategic development of AUB and a confirmation of the desire of the Ukrainian financial community to fully integrate into the European space.
The main task of the representative office will be to ensure constant communication between the Ukrainian banking sector and European partners, promote the exchange of experience, participate in the formation of EU financial policy concerning Ukraine, and promote Ukrainian initiatives in relevant structures.
"Ukraine's integration into the European Union is moving at a rapid pace, but there is still a lot of work ahead. Ukraine's accession to the EU will depend solely on us, on our readiness to adapt all the necessary standards and regulations that are already in force in the EU. This applies not only to the banking sector, but also to all spheres of life in Ukraine, and we must do this at a rapid pace," said AUB President Andriy Dubas.
The Association emphasizes that the opening of a representative office in Brussels is only the first, but very important step towards closer integration with the European financial community.
