Укр Ukraine Recovery Conference-2024: banks are actively involved in Ukraine's recovery
The Ukrainian banking community is strongly represented at the Ukraine Recovery Conference-2024 (URC2024), which took place in the German capital. Sergiy Mamedov, Vice President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks and Chairman of the Board of Globus Bank, took an active part in this important event, emphasising the important role of banks in the recovery of Ukraine.
The slogan of the conference is ‘United in Protection. United in Recovery. Stronger together.’ reflected its main goal of consolidating international support for the reconstruction, reform and modernisation of Ukraine. The URC2024 focused on the following key areas: private business engagement, social recovery and human capital, community and regional recovery, and European integration and related reforms.
Serhiy Mamedov, AUB Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Globus Bank, represented not only the banking community, but also the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine. The solutions developed at URC2024, together with the experience and professionalism of the banking and construction industries, will help Ukraine to withstand and win.
During the Ukraine Recovery Conference-2024 (URC2024), agreements were reached on investments in Ukrainian energy efficiency. AUB member, Ukrgasbank signed an important document with Finance in Motion GmbH, representing the Green for Growth Fund (GGF), to provide investments in energy efficiency.
