On April 3, the winners of the Main Financial Award of the Year 2024 rating were awarded based on the results of 2023. The event was organized by the Association of Ukrainian Banks and brought together more than 80 representatives of banks, non-bank financial institutions and other market participants.
As the organizer of the award, the Association of Ukrainian Banks conducted a thorough analysis of financial institutions, evaluating their performance, innovative solutions and contribution to the development of the banking sector and the financial system of Ukraine. The winners in various nominations were both powerful banks and new, dynamically developing companies, which demonstrates the high level of competition and diversity of financial services in the market.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event featured interesting and informative presentations by leading experts:
"Digitalization can do a good service. The first service is to reduce the cost of maintaining the infrastructure of the banking system. And the second is to enable people to use banking services around the clock," the expert said.
An important part of the event was the awarding of representatives of banks and financial companies who made a significant contribution to the creation of the unique documentary film Da Vinci. The film tells the story of the life of a Ukrainian volunteer, commander of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Ivanovych Kotsiubailo (call sign "Da Vinci"), who died on March 7, 2023, in the Battle of Bakhmut.
"We are pleased to have been involved in contributing to the filming of the movie about the Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Kotsiubailo, Da Vinci. This is our first experience in terms of such participation. In general, we have been involved in supporting our army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion," shared his impressions Sergiy Sinchenko, CEO of MoneyVeo.
Andriy Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, emphasized the importance of working together in difficult conditions and noted that Ukraine's financial sector continues to develop and adapt to new realities.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the participants of the Main Financial Award of the Year for their fruitful work over the past year, for the introduction of new financial products, for their resilience and steadfastness in the difficult conditions of war. I am convinced that by working together we will be able to overcome all challenges and ensure further development of the domestic financial system," Andriy Dubas emphasized.
