On April 11, the Association of Ukrainian Banks together with the YouControl company held a webinar "Analysis of market opportunities" devoted to the strategy of attracting new clients in the banking sector. The webinar gathered more than 30 participants, including representatives of banks and non-banking financial institutions.

The speakers of the webinar were:

• Roman Kornilyuk, doctor of economic sciences, financial analyst of YouControl;
• Halyna Lyaliuk, head of the YouControl Market department.

During the webinar, the following issues were discussed:

• the importance of checking counterparties in today's dynamic financial world;
• the need for active implementation of financial monitoring in banks and non-bank financial institutions; 
  
• capabilities of the YouControl analytical system for compliance, market analysis, business intelligence and investigations;
  
• strategies for attracting new customers for banks;
  
• methods and approaches to benchmarking and customer segmentation;
  
• risk analysis and determination of optimal financial monitoring management strategies;
  
• development of effective deposit and credit products;
  
• list of prospective clients in target regional/local markets.

Webinar participants noted the urgent need for analytical systems that allow comprehensive analysis of financial transactions and counterparties, identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal requirements, and expressed interest in further cooperation. According to the results of the webinar, the participants received certificates.

He also added that the Association has already developed an analytical platform that provides access to a wide range of information, including financial reports, trends banking activity and economic indicators, enriching scientific works and research.
