AUB Club: Meeting with Viktor Yushchenko, President of Ukraine (2005–2010)

On September 4, the Ukrainian Banks Association Club held its regular meeting, which became a landmark event for the entire financial community. The guest of honor at the meeting was Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko, President of Ukraine from 2005 to 2010.

Although the event was planned to last one and a half to two hours, the discussion lasted over four hours. Such a lively conversation was made possible by Viktor Yushchenko's deep knowledge and rich experience, his understanding of the banking system, geopolitical processes, and Ukraine's place in the global and European community.

Main topics of the meeting

Participants discussed key issues that determine the development of the state and the financial sector:

  • challenges for the banking and financial system under martial law;
