“Можливі напрямки і шляхи запровадження в Україні системи страхування банківських цінностей під час їх зберігання та перевезення, визначення спільних дій” – така тема робочої наради, яка відбулась в Асоціації українських банків за участю керівників департаментів НБУ, страхових компаній та комерційних банків.
Як відзначила Віце-президент АУБ Антоніна Паламарчук, на сьогодні система страхування для забезпечення збереження банківських цінностей в Україні майже відсутня. Суттєвим гальмом в цьому напрямку, вважають учасники наради, є невизначеність вітчизняної нормативної бази, яка б регулювала процес страхування банківських цінностей як для самих банків, так і для страхових компаній.
В якості прикладу було розглянуто досвід зарубіжних країн, де забезпечення надійності збереження грошей і матеріальних цінностей, що знаходяться у банках, покладається на самі банки, які самостійно визначають ступінь захисту та порядок їх охорони. Опираючись на цей досвід діючі в Україні комерційні банки з іноземним капіталом активно використовують систему страхування, як умову забезпечення надійності збереження грошей.
Під час обговорення учасники наради наголосили на доцільності застосування системи страхування, використовуючи вже напрацьований досвід іноземних банків, що працюють в Україні. З цією метою вирішено продовжити роботу над розробкою нормативно-правової бази.

“Possible directions and ways of introducing in Ukraine insurance system for banking values within the period of their saving and transportation and determining special actions,” was the subject of the business meeting, which took place at the Association of Ukrainian Banks with the heads of NBU departments, insurance companies and commercial banks participating in it.
 
Today insurance system of saving banking values in Ukraine is almost absent, as stated by AUB Vice-President  Antonina Palamarchuk. A considerable brake in this direction is regarded by the participants of the meeting to rest on indefiniteness of the country’s normative base, which could regulate the process of banking values insurance either for the banks themselves so for the insurance companies.

In lieu of example they discussed the experience of foreign countries where providing security of saving for money and inventories, reserved in banks, is imposed on the banks themselves, which themselves determin the degree of protection and the order of their guarding. Basing on this experience acting banks with foreign capital actively imploy insurance system as means to guarantee security of saving the money.

In terms of discussion the participants of the meeting insisted that it should be reasonable to introduce insurance system  imploying already developed experience of foreign banks operating in Ukraine. Aiming at this it was decided to keep on developing regulatory and legal framework.
