Cybersecurity in action: The Association of Ukrainian Banks and the International Cyber Academy have joined forces to protect the financial sector
The Association of Ukrainian Banks and the International Cyber Academy have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at improving the cyber resilience of financial institutions, developing modern digital services, and implementing European cyber security standards in Ukraine.
The partners emphasize that in today's environment, financial institutions need not only to implement the latest technologies, but also to train their staff to respond quickly to cyber incidents. Particular attention will be paid to adapting the rules and practices already in place in the European Union, which is an important step towards Ukraine's integration into the European financial community.
Valery Tsupa, President of the International Cyber Academy, emphasized that the readiness of specialists to act immediately in the event of a cyberattack is the key to maintaining data security, financial stability, and customer trust.
By the end of 2025, the Association of Ukrainian Banks and the International Cyber Academy plan to hold a series of joint seminars and conferences with the participation of leading Ukrainian and international experts in the field of cyber security.
