Meeting of the AUB Committee on Small and Medium Business Development
The event was attended by 15 representatives of leading financial institutions, including representatives of state and foreign banks, privately owned banks, as well as representatives of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund and the Export Credit Agency.
The key event of the meeting was the start of cooperation between the AUB and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). This cooperation aims to boost lending to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ukraine, which is critical for the country's economic growth. Mykhailo Fedorenko, a GIZ consultant, presented to the participants the key issues that hinder effective lending to MSMEs in Ukraine and proposed possible approaches to solving them. The participants actively joined the discussion, sharing their own views and experiences on the issues outlined.
