Укр On the way to European integration: AUB's specialized committee discussed the implementation of SAF-T UA
On July 29, a meeting of the AUB Accounting and Taxation Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Committee's Chairman Bohdan Lukasevych. The meeting was attended by representatives of various banking institutions. During the meeting, the issues of SAF-T UA implementation were discussed.
The Accounting and Taxation Committee of the Association of Ukrainian Banks held an online meeting to consider the formation of a working group to discuss the implementation of the Standard Audit File for Tax Purposes (SAF-T UA). The implementation of SAF-T UA is considered as an important step in the process of Ukraine's European integration. Together with the NBU and other regulatory authorities, the CAA is actively working on the implementation of European standards in the country's financial and banking system.
During the meeting of the Accounting and Taxation Committee of the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB), the issue of forming a working group of representatives of financial institutions to deal with the implementation of SAF-T UA was discussed.

In his speech, Bohdan Lukasevych, Chairman of the Committee, emphasized the importance of forming a working group from the Association of Ukrainian Banks to discuss the implementation of SAF-T UA with regulators to improve tax reporting and audit in Ukrainian banks.
SAF-T UA (Standard Audit File - Tax) - is an electronic reporting standard for the exchange of accounting data. This standard is part of the European reporting framework and uses the European format. Ukraine is implementing SAF-T UA to simplify and automate taxpayers' reporting to the state tax authorities, which is an important step towards European integration.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided that all committee members should submit their proposals for the nomination of representatives of their banks to form a working group. AUB will consolidate these proposals and prepare a letter to the State Tax Service of Ukraine for official approval of the working group.
