Укр The Association of Ukrainian Banks became a partner of the XII Cash Forum UKRAINIAN CASH FORUM-2024
On 31 May, the annual XII UKRAINIAN CASH FORUM-2024 was successfully held in Kyiv at the Mercure Kyiv Congress. The Association of Ukrainian Banks (‘AUB’) became a partner of this important event, which brought together more than 100 heads of specialised departments of commercial banks, the National Bank of Ukraine, CIT companies, as well as leading experts in the field of management, processing and regulation of large volumes of cash. Among the speakers at the forum were top managers of financial institutions that are members of the AUB.
The Forum was opened by the HEADLINE SESSION on ‘CASH FLOW IN UKRAINE - NEW CONDITIONS AND TRENDS SHAPING THE FUTURE’. The speakers at the session were: Oksana GALITS, Deputy Director of the NBU's Money Circulation Department, Valeriy STROCHKOV, Head of the Money Production and Protection Division of the NBU's Money Circulation Department, Iryna LEBEDYN, Director of the Cash Management Centre of JSC ‘KREDOBANK’ and Viktor GARKUSHA, Director of the Cash Management, Collection and Transportation Department of JSC ‘Raiffeisen Bank’.
The Forum continued with a Panel Discussion on ‘CASH MARKET IN WAR - LESSONS LEARNED AND EXPERIENCES Gained’ with the participation of experts: Andriy BODYAN, Director of the Collection and Cash Management Department of JSC ‘FUIB’, Tetiana KOSTIUChenko, Head of the Cash Management Division of the Cash Management Department of the NBU and Banks of Ukraine, Cash Management Division of the NBU, Tetyana TRUSH, Head of Cash Circulation at PrivatBank, Bohdan MARTSYSHYN, Head of Cash Management at the Department of Collection, Recalculation and Storage of Currency Valuables at Oschadbank, and Olena KOMASHKO, Director of Banknote Business at AKORDBANK.
The Forum continued with a block session: ‘Cash Management + Cash Security’. The speakers were: Elena Dmitrieva, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC CB GLOBUS, Oksana Poluyan, Head of Cash Operations Support of the Operations Department of JSC CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, Alla Kirgizova, Development Manager of the banking business line RENOME SMART (Ukraine) and Elena Chekushina, Business Development Manager of Midot Ukraine.
The AUB's activities are aimed at ensuring that cash circulation in Ukraine meets international standards, introducing innovations in this sector and ensuring proper management of cash resources.
