The Accounting Chamber approved its work plan for the coming year

The institution's annual work plan includes 52 control measures to be completed in 2026 and another 14 audits to begin next year and be completed in 2027.

According to the Accounting Chamber, the priorities will be defense, recovery, and audits of consolidated financial statements.
In particular, six audits are planned in the field of defense, including: a financial audit of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a compliance audit of the monetary support of military personnel, the procurement of unmanned systems, and the procurement and development of weapons and military equipment.

In the field of reconstruction: an audit of the process of restoring settlements affected by Russia's armed aggression and an audit of the process of compensation for housing destroyed and damaged by the war.
In the social sphere, compliance audits are planned on the support and reintegration of veterans into peaceful life, the provision of persons with war-related disabilities with prosthetic and orthopedic devices of increased functionality using the latest technologies, and an audit on the topic “School bus – a safe way to knowledge.”

There are also plans to conduct a compliance audit of the use of funds allocated from the state budget to finance the statutory activities of political parties, an audit of the implementation of the administrative expenditure estimate of the National Bank of Ukraine, an audit of the accumulation of pending cases in courts, and others.
In addition to the above, eight financial audits of the consolidated financial statements of state budget administrators are planned.

"The work plan for 2026 provides for annual mandatory audits and analyses: assessment of the implementation of the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine, analysis of the implementation of the state budget in the reporting periods, analysis of the annual report of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the annual report of the State Property Fund, the annual report of the Ministry of Economy in terms of public procurement, etc.," the Accounting Chamber noted.
