The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine approved the payment of 25% compensation for the cost of Ukrainian agricultural equipment for August applications within the framework of the state program to support producers.
In August, agricultural producers submitted 600 applications for compensation for 952 units of equipment worth over UAH 663.7 million (including VAT). The total amount of compensation from the state was UAH 138.3 million.
Deputy Minister Andriy Telyupa noted that since December 2024, Ukrainian machine builders have sold agricultural machinery worth more than UAH 4.3 billion, and the state has already accrued more than UAH 906 million in compensation, which is systematically paid through the program's partner banks. It is their participation that ensures transparent interaction between agricultural producers and the state, speeding up the process of receiving compensation.
To take advantage of the program, farmers must be registered in the State Agrarian Register (DAR), purchase equipment from the official list of the Ministry of Economy through one of 34 authorized banks, and after payment, submit an application for reimbursement of 25% of the cost.
The program is part of the “Made in Ukraine” national production development policy and stimulates demand for equipment with a localization level of 60% or more, while supporting Ukrainian farmers and manufacturers in the machine-building sector.
Manufacturers wishing to include their products in the list can apply to the Ministry of Economy by submitting an application on the ministry's official website.
As a reminder, compensation of 25% of the cost (excluding VAT) is provided for Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment with at least 60% localization. Special conditions apply to certain categories, such as combine harvesters, tractors, self-propelled sprayers, and grain trucks. A list of equipment with a confirmed localization level is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy.
