Ukrainian businesses received UAH 1.5 billion in affordable loans in one week

Over the past week, as part of the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%,” entrepreneurs were granted 650 preferential loans totaling UAH 1.5 billion. More than two-thirds of these funds (UAH 1.1 billion) were provided by state-owned banks. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

In total, since the beginning of 2025, 20,063 loans worth UAH 59.4 billion have been issued under this program. Since the full-scale invasion, almost 90,000 loan agreements worth over UAH 335 billion have been concluded. These funds were directed to various needs, in particular:

  • financing of working capital;
  • investments in development;
  • lending to the agricultural sector and product processing;
  • support for businesses in areas of high military risk.

The program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, which cooperates with 46 Ukrainian banks. The state continues to provide compensation payments for these loans.
