In July 2025, Ukrainian banks issued 871 mortgage loans totaling UAH 1.6 billion. This is evidenced by the results of the monthly survey of banks on mortgage lending conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to the NBU, the largest share of loans was provided in the primary real estate market—508 agreements worth UAH 961.5 million. Of these, 143 loans (UAH 275.6 million) were secured by property rights to future real estate. In the secondary market, banks issued 363 loans worth UAH 646.7 million.

The weighted average effective rates were 8.05% per annum in the primary market and 9.15% in the secondary market. The quality of the mortgage portfolio remains stable, with the share of non-performing loans remaining at 15%.
