Укр “National cashback": 884 thousand Ukrainians already see accrued cashback in Diia
884 thousand Ukrainians, or 95% of consumers who have marked their cards for cashback payments in Diia, see the accrued cashback. These are the results of four weeks of beta testing of the program.

“During the testing period of the National Cashback program, Ukrainians have already received UAH 42 million in cashback for purchases of Ukrainian goods. More than 1.6 million Ukrainians have joined the program and issued 1.8 million cards. However, only 926 thousand users have activated cards for payments in Diia. Therefore, for those who have not yet done so, there are a few simple steps: in the Diia app, in the Services section, select National Cashback and select a card for payments opened in one of the partner banks,” said Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Another outcome of the fourth week of cashback beta testing was the progress in transmitting transaction information by banks. Thanks to this, most consumers can already see the cashback accrued to them at the end of the next day after the previous one. For example, Diia users saw cashback for purchases made on September 29 in the evening of September 30. While the process of transmitting and processing transactions is not yet fully stable, adjustments are ongoing.
At the beginning of a new month, all users see the amount of cashback accrued in Diia for October. Ukrainians will receive cashback for September on their National Cashback card by October 20. Do not forget to mark the card for payments in Diia. Meanwhile, in a few days, you will be able to see cashback for the previous month in Diia. As of the beginning of this week, a number of retail chains have already labeled goods on the shelves and placed signs in stores about joining the National Cashback program. These are Epicenter K, Nova Liniya, Aurora, Tavria V, Kopilka, WOG, Budynok Igrashok, Apteka Z, Comfy, Simi, Thrash!
Over the past week, new retail chains have joined the project - Nash Krai, SPAR, Kolo. We would like to draw the attention of retail chains and individual stores that are just joining the program to the importance of marking cashback products on the shelves. The state's “national cashback” is already available for 235 thousand Ukrainian goods from 1234 local manufacturers.
As a reminder, to receive cashback from the state, you need to:
- Apply through the website or mobile application of a bank participating in the program or contact a branch.
The following banks have joined the program: PrivatBank, Monobank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, FUIB, Abank, Globus Bank, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Oschadbank, Accordbank and Credit Dnipro Bank. - Identify the cards from which you pay for purchases and give the bank permission to transfer information about transactions from these cards in participating stores.
- Open a physical or virtual card to which cashback will be credited.
- In the Actions section of Services, select the National Cashback card for payments.
Cashback in the amount of 10% of the cost is accrued for the purchase of goods from Ukrainian producers included in the program. Exceptions are excisable products (fuel, tobacco, and spirits). Cashback also applies to medicines made in Ukraine, wine without alcohol and honey drinks.
The maximum amount of payments is UAH 3 thousand per month. The funds accumulated during the month will be transferred to the created card once a month until the 20th of the following month.
The funds received for participating in the National Cashback program can be spent on services such as utilities, transportation, medical treatment, mobile communications, sports, movies, etc. It will also be possible to donate to the Armed Forces or buy military bonds.
It will be impossible to withdraw cash from the account where cashback funds are credited. Cashback funds accrued in 2024 can be used until January 31, 2025.

The project is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the State Tax Service, Oschadbank and authorized banks of Ukraine, and the Government Contact Center. The international payment system Mastercard is a technological partner in the program. The operational partner of the project is Visa, an international payment technology company.
