Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainian entrepreneurs have received 13,839 soft loans under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program totaling UAH 52.4 billion. The agriculture and manufacturing sectors account for more than two-thirds of this amount.

Over the past week, entrepreneurs took out another 445 such loans worth UAH 1.6 billion. In total, 92.8 thousand loans worth UAH 319.2 billion have been issued since the program was launched in February 2020.

“The state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” is a part of our “Made in Ukraine” policy to support Ukrainian producers. It is important for the Government to ensure that the concessional funds are used to meet the real needs of businesses to modernize production facilities and create new jobs, as well as to ensure their own energy sustainability. Therefore, the increase in the share of lending to investment projects, as well as to processing enterprises and businesses operating in the high-risk military zone, is a positive indicator that reflects changes in approaches to state support for business in times of war.

Since the beginning of 2024, entrepreneurs have received affordable loans for the following purposes:

• UAH 16.6 billion - loans to replenish working capital;
• UAH 12.0 billion - loans to businesses operating in the high military risk zone;
• UAH 11.1 billion - loans for the development of processing enterprises;
• UAH 9.8 billion for the implementation of investment projects.

Among the regions, Lviv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of loan agreements.

I would also like to remind you that since last week, condominium associations and housing cooperatives have joined the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program - they can receive funds at a reduced rate for the purchase and installation of equipment for generating electricity from alternative sources, as well as electricity storage facilities.”
