Clearing House Bank has launched mobile banking for retail customers under a new brand — bank.kd. It is already available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
This is not just an update to the mobile app, but a completely new development by the bank's team. At this stage, the app's functionality covers all basic banking services, and users can register using Diia. After registration, customers immediately receive a multi-currency card with a credit limit and a grace period. Payments, transfers, card loans, deposits and savings accounts, currency exchange, and other services are also available. bank.kd supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.
“We launched a test version almost a month ago and have been actively working on stabilisation and gathering feedback. Now we are starting to attract new users. So, the task is to actively analyse the experience not only of the test group, but also of new users, and to change according to the results obtained,” the developers note.
bank.kd is positioned as a universal mobile banking app. In addition to improving what already exists, the immediate plans include expanding functionality and meeting most customer needs and requests. When designing the interface, the bank's team focused on making the app easy to use and its functionality understandable from the first use. Unlike the typical approach of creating a “light theme” first, the app is designed in dark tones with a bright lime accent. The team noted: "bank.kd is not just the name of the app; in fact, it is a new retail brand that reflects our approach to customers and business, our philosophy. We aim to always give our users a little more. That's why we offer, for example, a multi-currency card, favorable interest rates on deposits, and more. Even the name can be interpreted as “bank every day” or bank.kd — more every day."
