Agribusiness remains a key sector of the economy during wartime, as it generates foreign currency revenues, provides jobs for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, and supports the stability of the national currency. Idea Bank has announced increased investment in this area, viewing financing for agribusiness not only as a business decision, but also as a strategic and reputational move.
“Supporting farmers is not just a business decision, it is a reputational move. We understand the challenges of the times and are ready to take responsibility for the development of key sectors. We believe that this position will strengthen the trust of our customers and partners,” says Hanna Skochynska, Head of Control and Sales Support at Idea Bank.
The bank emphasizes that investing in and lending to the agricultural sector today is a contribution to the country's post-war recovery, preserving jobs and tax revenues even in frontline regions.
Dialogue with farmers: the bank at the AGRO Vinnytsia Field Day
In September, the Idea Bank team took part in the country's largest agricultural event, AGRO Vinnytsia Field Days. The event brought together 233 companies from all over Ukraine and international partners, who presented the latest agricultural equipment and innovative solutions for crop production, logistics, and agricultural construction.
Bank representatives had the opportunity to communicate directly with farmers, provide advice on financial support instruments, and present solutions that will help farmers develop their businesses in wartime conditions. The exhibition became a platform for establishing new partnerships and strengthening trust between the bank and the agricultural sector.
