Over the past 6-9 months, the Ukrainian market has seen a significant increase in demand for long-term financing. This was   reported by Danylo Rakovitsa, Head of Corporate Banking at PRAVEX BANK. 

"At the beginning of 2022, the main task for companies was to quickly restore and establish all business chains in the new environment, and the main request was for working capital financing. Companies were not very ready to invest in new long-term projects. However, over the past 6-9 months, there has been a significant increase in demand for financing for long-term projects,’ he said.

According to Danylo Rakovets, the situation is changing now. Ukrainian companies that have already adapted to the new realities are starting to invest in the future.

They are interested in projects to expand their current operations and create promising business areas, such as

ESG projects: energy efficiency and energy independence,

• Internal processing of agricultural products
• Logistics projects
• Import substitution
