Finance Security Camp 2025: how financial institutions are preparing for new security challenges
On July 25–26, the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) and SB-Club held Finance Security Camp 2025, an intensive two-day training course aimed at security service managers at financial institutions.
The event served as a platform for discussing current challenges in the field of system security and cyber defense, testing solutions on real-life cases, exchanging practical experience, and developing algorithms for responding to threats.

"The topic of our event is extremely important in today's world. We must take a responsible approach to system security, constantly assess risks, and have a clear plan for responding to incidents. Despite this, our first priority is to train our staff, because that is where it all begins," said Tamara Savoshchenko, Deputy Chair of the AUB Council, in her opening remarks.
Over the course of two days, participants immersed themselves in real-life cyber threat scenarios:
- insider and external attacker activity,
- credit security and fraud detection cases,
- risk assessment tools and analysis of ignored threats,
- ISO 37001 certification and compliance requirements
Among the invited speakers were:
