AUB President Took Part in the “Ukraine’s Vision 2030” Forum
On May 21, the President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, Andriy Dubas, took part in the Second International Business Forum “Ukraine’s Vision 2030”, organized by Crowe Mikhailenko in cooperation with GIZ. The event brought together around 300 participants, including leading Ukrainian and international experts, government officials, business leaders, and diplomats, to shape a shared vision for Ukraine's post-war recovery and sustainable development.
Participants of the forum discussed key challenges and prospects for Ukraine in the following areas:
- international support and investment;
- green transition and energy efficiency;
- digitalization and AI implementation;
- transparent governance and anti-corruption efforts;
- the role of the private sector in post-war recovery.
During a panel discussion dedicated to the role of the banking system in rebuilding the economy, Andriy Dubas, together with representatives of AUB member banks — Oschadbank and Ukrgasbank — emphasized the importance of implementing ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in the Ukrainian financial sector.
The forum confirmed that Ukrainian business, in cooperation with the state and international partners, is ready to shape a new, responsible economy focused on sustainable development, innovation, and transparency.
We thank Crowe Mikhailenko for the opportunity to join this important dialogue about Ukraine's future.
The Association of Ukrainian Banks will continue to actively promote the implementation of the best international standards in the financial sector.
