Strengthening international cooperation: AUB held a video conference with the American Banking Association
The Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) held a videoconference with representatives of the American Banking Association (ABA), during which agreements on cooperation were reached.
The event was attended by AUB President Andriy Dubas, AUB Vice President Petro Pekur, as well as representatives of the American Bankers Association, including Ashtyn Landen, Senior Director, Prudential Regulation at the American Bankers Association, and Hugh Carney, Executive Vice President, Financial Institution Policy & Regulatory Affairs of the American Bankers Association.
During the introductory meeting, the American colleagues were presented with the structure of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, the results of its work over the recent period, as well as the wide opportunities to represent the interests of the banking community both within Ukraine and internationally.
The participants of the meeting agreed to work on a document that will consolidate the agreements reached on cooperation and exchange of experience between the Association of Ukrainian Banks and the American Banking Association. In addition, the American Banking Association invited the representatives of the AUB to hold a business meeting in the United States.
AUB President Andriy Dubas expressed his gratitude to Vice President Petro Pekur for organizing the meeting and establishing international relations of the Association of Ukrainian Banks.
