Thanks to «5-7-9» , bank lending has been «revived»

The "5-7-9" small and medium-sized business support program has become a very effective source for the development of domestic entrepreneurship, especially during a full-scale war. The state made a very important and possibly fateful decision: to raise the economy, which is called "from below", giving citizens the opportunity to develop their own business. This is the opinion in Banki.ua interview</a > said Serhii Mamedov, Chairman of the Board of GLOBUS BANK.

2002_mamedov_2-1 Thanks to «5-7-9» , bank lending has been «revived» | Асоціація українських банків "I will give the following figures: in the two years since the start of military aggression, 1.5 times more loans were issued under the "5-7-9" program than in the period from 2020 to 2021. And the general indicators of lending under this program are impressive: it is more than 44,000 loans for a total amount of more than UAH 177 billion," the banker noted.

According to Mamedov, thanks to "5-7-9" it was possible to "resuscitate" bank lending, because in 2023 almost ¼ of all bank loans were issued precisely under the "5-7" program -9".

"In this program, we focused on the development of targeted lending, which is loans for the purchase and modernization of the main means of conducting business (for example, the purchase of dental equipment, special equipment, motor vehicles, the purchase of production tools, etc. ). Of course, the priority is the borrower, which is why we are ready to provide loans according to his needs, maximally expanding the range of our own credit programs, including "partner" programs, acting here not only as a financial guarantor and mediator, but also as an advisor-consultant. We understand that the future of the Ukrainian economy depends on small and medium-sized businesses," emphasized the chairman of the board of GLOBUS BANK.
