On February 24, 2026, a meeting of the Council of the Association of Ukrainian Banks was held.
During the meeting, the Council members considered the implementation of the 2025 budget, the admission of new members to the Association, amendments to the Regulations of the Permanent Arbitration Court at the AUB, and the renewal of the composition of arbitrators.
New members of the AUB
By decision of the Council, two financial companies, FC Portal and FC CreditPlus, were admitted to the Association. The expansion of the Association’s membership demonstrates the strengthening of professional cooperation among participants in the financial sector, promotes the development of coordinated decisions on key issues of market development, and increases the effectiveness of representing its interests.
Arbitration Court at the AUB
A key issue at the meeting was the presentation of the new version of the Rules of Procedure of the Permanent Arbitration Court at the AUB. The updates are aimed at bringing the procedures into line with current legislation, in particular the rules relating to the capital market, as well as expanding the scope of arbitration proceedings.
Separately, the Council updated the composition of the arbitrators, adding three candidates to the list. Before the decision was made, the candidates underwent an integrity check. All decisions were made unanimously.
The meeting also announced the expansion of the practice of applying arbitration clauses by banks, which will have a long-term positive effect on the development of the institution.
